Hello!  Visiting a church for the first time can be intimidating for anyone, especially if you are a family who might be unfamiliar with the area.  So, let us take the stress out of it and help you and your family enjoy your first visit to WOODLAND. 

 

At WOODLAND,  you are our guest and it's a privilege to serve you and your family.  You will find a safe and welcoming church full of loving and friendly folks.  From the moment you enter the parking lot, you will be welcomed and helped along to your next step whether that is a Bible Fellowship Group, or to our Worship Service.  If you have children, you will stop by our children's area, which are located in front of the Nursery, and beside the the church office. Each of our Children's Ministry areas is staffed with great volunteers who have all been background checked and are trained in age-appropriate teaching techniques.  We are an ordinary group of people trying to do radical things to advance the Kingdom of God.

 

Secondly, during your visit with us, you will experience worship in song together, worship through prayer, and worship through the teaching and preaching of God's Word. We do this, in an effort to encourage spiritual growth in ourselves, our friends, our family, and those far from God. We sing both modern worship songs and the great hymns of the faith as one unified spiritual family.  Fidelity to scripture and love of Christ and neighbor are deep convictions we hold.  The Gospel is for everyone and we celebrate diversity so come as you are.  We have families of differing socio-economic backgrounds and every profession you can imagine.  We have room for YOU at WOODLAND!
